Workable
Workable is a recruiting platform. Advanced Form Integration sends form submissions to Workable, so every form entry on your WordPress site can create or update records automatically without manual data entry.
What you’ll need
- An active Workable account.
- An API token from Workable (see below).
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin installed and activated.
Get your Workable API token
Workable authenticates with a bearer token.
- Sign in to your Workable account.
- Open Settings → API or the developer/integrations section.
- Generate or copy your API Token (sometimes called a Personal Access Token).
- Paste it in AFI → Settings → Workable.
Connect Workable to AFI
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings and open the Workable tab.
- Click Add New Account and paste the API key or token.
- Give the account a name you will recognise.
- Click Save.
Create the integration
- Go to AFI → Add New.
- Give the integration a name, for example
Form to Workable. - Under Trigger, pick the form plugin and the specific form you want to listen on.
- Under Action → Platform, select Workable.
- In Task, choose Create Candidate.
- Pick the saved account in the Workable Account dropdown.
- Map your form fields onto the Workable fields listed below.
- Optional: open Conditional Logic to limit which submissions are sent.
- Click Save Integration.

Conditional logic example
Only send data to Workable when the form’s email field is not empty, so test submissions or incomplete entries do not create records. Add a condition: Email is not empty.
Troubleshooting
Nothing arrives in Workable
Open AFI → Log and find the most recent entry for this integration. AFI stores the request it sent and the raw response it got back. If there is no log entry at all, the trigger never fired: re-check the form selection and submit a real test entry from the front end.
API key rejected
Copy the key directly from Workable with no leading or trailing spaces. If the key was revoked or regenerated, update it in AFI → Settings → Workable.
