Tasks supported
Subscribe to List
Adds the form submitter as a contact on the chosen Vertical Response list. If the email already exists, the contact is updated rather than duplicated.
Conditional logic example
Subscribe to your “Event attendees” Vertical Response list only when the form’s attending_event checkbox is checked. Other newsletter signups go to the general list via a separate integration.
Troubleshooting
Integration doesn’t fire
Open AFI → Log and find the most recent entry. The log shows the request payload sent to Vertical Response and the response received, usually pointing straight at the cause.
Account not authorized
If the integration shows “not connected” or you see auth errors, return to AFI → Settings → Vertical Response and click Authorize again. Vertical Response OAuth tokens can expire if unused for an extended period.
List not accessible
The connected user must have access to the chosen list. If lists don’t appear in the dropdown, check the user’s permissions in Vertical Response.
