Vision6 is a email marketing platform. Advanced Form Integration sends form submissions to Vision6, so every form entry on your WordPress site can create or update records automatically without manual data entry.

What you’ll need

  • An active Vision6 account.
  • An API token from Vision6 (see below).
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin installed and activated.

Get your Vision6 API token

Vision6 authenticates with a bearer token.

  1. Sign in to your Vision6 account.
  2. Open Settings → API or the developer/integrations section.
  3. Generate or copy your API Token (sometimes called a Personal Access Token).
  4. Paste it in AFI → Settings → Vision6.

Connect Vision6 to AFI

  1. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings and open the Vision6 tab.
  2. Click Add New Account and paste the API key or token.
  3. Give the account a name you will recognise.
  4. Click Save.

Create the integration

  1. Go to AFI → Add New.
  2. Give the integration a name, for example Form to Vision6.
  3. Under Trigger, pick the form plugin and the specific form you want to listen on.
  4. Under Action → Platform, select Vision6.
  5. In Task, choose Add Contact to List.
  6. Pick the saved account in the Vision6 Account dropdown.
  7. Map your form fields onto the Vision6 fields listed below.
  8. Optional: open Conditional Logic to limit which submissions are sent.
  9. Click Save Integration.

Add Contact to List

Adds a contact to the platform from the form submission.

Field Field key Required Notes
List ID (required list_id No
Email Address (required email_address No
First Name first_name Yes
Last Name last_name Yes
Mobile Number (E.164 mobile_number No
Company (custom field company No
Job Title (custom field job_title No

Conditional logic example

Only send data to Vision6 when the form’s email field is not empty, so test submissions or incomplete entries do not create records. Add a condition: Email is not empty.

Troubleshooting

Nothing arrives in Vision6

Open AFI → Log and find the most recent entry for this integration. AFI stores the request it sent and the raw response it got back. If there is no log entry at all, the trigger never fired: re-check the form selection and submit a real test entry from the front end.

API key rejected

Copy the key directly from Vision6 with no leading or trailing spaces. If the key was revoked or regenerated, update it in AFI → Settings → Vision6.
