Overview

AFI awards points and ranks in myCred, the WordPress gamification plugin, from any form submission. Reward visitors with points for filling out specific forms, completing onboarding flows, or any custom action.

Authentication

  1. No API key — AFI writes directly to myCred on the same WordPress install.
  2. Confirm myCred is installed and activated.

How to create the integration

  1. In WordPress admin, go to AFI > New Integration.
  2. Pick your Sender (Contact Form 7, WPForms, WooCommerce, etc.) and the form / event to listen on.
  3. Pick myCred as the Receiver, then pick the Task you want to run.
  4. Map sender fields onto myCred’s fields. WP user ID or email + the point type are required.
  5. Optional: add Conditional Logic so the action only fires on matching submissions.
  6. Save and run a test submission. Check AFI > Log if anything looks off.

Notes & caveats

  • WP user prereq: myCred is user-bound.
  • Multiple point types: pick the right type if you have several (e.g. points, karma, credits).
  • Daily limits / cooldowns: configured per point type — AFI awards bypass them when called via the receiver. Configure per-rule limits in AFI’s Conditional Logic if needed.
