Overview

AFI pushes subscribers into UniSender lists, the email and SMS marketing platform popular in Eastern Europe, from WordPress form submissions. Sync contacts to your UniSender campaigns automatically.

Supported actions

  • Subscribe to List
  • Send SMS
  • Update Contact

Authentication

  1. Log in to UniSender.
  2. Open Account > Integrations > API.
  3. Copy your API key.
  4. In AFI go to Settings > UniSender and paste the key.

How to create the integration

  1. In WordPress admin, go to AFI > New Integration.
  2. Pick your Sender (Contact Form 7, WPForms, WooCommerce, etc.) and the form / event to listen on.
  3. Pick UniSender as the Receiver, then pick the Task you want to run.
  4. Map sender fields onto UniSender’s fields. Email is required for list subscriptions; phone (E.164) for SMS sends.
  5. Optional: add Conditional Logic so the action only fires on matching submissions.
  6. Save and run a test submission. Check AFI > Log if anything looks off.

Notes & caveats

  • Russian-language UI: UniSender’s admin is Russian-first; switch to English in your account settings.
  • SMS sender ID: SMS messages require a registered alphanumeric sender ID — set this up in UniSender first.
  • List confirmation: double opt-in is on by default — subscribers receive a confirmation email.
