Planhat CRM
Overview
AFI pushes customer records and activity into Planhat, the customer-success platform, from WordPress events. Capture onboarding form submissions, support requests, and renewal forms directly into your customer health view.
Supported actions
- Create / Update End User
- Create / Update Company
- Log Activity
Authentication
- Log in to Planhat.
- Open your profile menu > Personal Access Tokens.
- Generate a new token with appropriate scopes (companies, end users, activities) and copy it.
- In AFI go to Settings > Planhat CRM and paste the token and your Planhat tenant ID.
How to create the integration
- In WordPress admin, go to AFI > New Integration.
- Pick your Sender (Contact Form 7, WPForms, WooCommerce, etc.) and the form / event to listen on.
- Pick Planhat CRM as the Receiver, then pick the Task you want to run.
- Map sender fields onto Planhat CRM’s fields. Email is required for end users; company name + (optional) external ID for companies.
- Optional: add Conditional Logic so the action only fires on matching submissions.
- Save and run a test submission. Check AFI > Log if anything looks off.
Notes & caveats
- Company match: Planhat matches companies by name or external ID — pick one approach consistently.
- Custom fields must be created in Planhat first and use the API key (lowercase, no spaces).
- Activity types: Planhat predefines some activity types (meeting, email, etc.) and supports custom ones — pick a stable type so dashboards group correctly.
