MailRelay
Overview
The Advanced Form Integration plugin allows you to connect your WordPress forms to MailRelay, enabling automatic addition of form submitters to your email marketing groups. This integration is helpful for lead generation, newsletter subscriptions, and targeted campaign automation.

π§ How To Setup
Step 1: Get Your API Credentials

Log into your MailRelay account.

Note your subdomain from the URL (e.g., if itβs
https://myorg.ipzmarketing.com/, then subdomain ismyorg). -
Go to Settings β API Keys, click Add, and copy the API Key.
Step 2: Add Credentials in AFI

Navigate to AFI β Settings β MailRelay tab.

Enter:

Subdomain: Your MailRelay subdomain.

API Key: The key you copied.

Click Save Credentials.
Step 3: Create a New Integration

Go to AFI β Add New
-
Provide a title for your integration (e.g., “Subscribe to Newsletter – MailRelay”)

Form Provider: Choose your form plugin (e.g., Elementor, WPForms, Contact Form 7)

Form Name: Select the form you want to connect

Platform: Select MailRelay

Task: Choose Subscribe to Group
Step 4: Map Fields
After selecting the action, configure the MailRelay options:

Choose the MailRelay credential you saved earlier.
πΈ Select Group
Select the group where the subscriber should be added. The dropdown will be populated from your MailRelay account.

Map your form fields to MailRelay fields like:

Email (required)

Name

SMS Phone

Address

City

State

Country

Birthday

Website

Locale
-
Time Zone

Status
Use the dropdowns beside each field to link the form inputs.
Step 5: Save and Test
Click Save Integration.
Now, when a user submits the connected form, they will be subscribed to the selected MailRelay group.

If the integration doesn’t work:

Go to AFI β Log

Look for the relevant request and check:

Status code (should be 200)

Response message
