Newsletter
The Newsletter plugin is a popular email marketing solution for WordPress. It lets you build subscriber lists, send newsletters, and manage campaigns. With Advanced Form Integration, you can automatically send subscriber data to external platforms when users subscribe through Newsletter forms.
Supported trigger events

Data captured
When a subscription event fires, AFI captures the following data:
- User Email
- First Name
- Last Name
- List ID
- List Name
- Any custom profile fields configured in the Newsletter plugin (Profile 1 through Profile 20)
How to set up
- Go to AFI → Add New in your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Under Trigger, select Newsletter as the Form Provider.
- Select the subscription form or trigger event.
- Under Action, choose your destination platform (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Sheets, a CRM, etc.).
- Map the available Newsletter fields to your target platform’s fields.
- Click Save Integration.
Use cases
- Sync new Newsletter subscribers to a CRM or Google Sheet.
- Trigger a welcome email through an external platform like ActiveCampaign or Brevo.
- Send subscriber data to automation tools like Zapier, Make, or Pabbly.
- Log new subscriptions for reporting or analytics.
Troubleshooting
Data not being sent
- Ensure the Newsletter plugin is active and properly configured.
- Check AFI → Log to confirm whether data was sent and review any errors.
- Make sure the list subscription was actually successful on the Newsletter side.
- If the list name is not captured, confirm the list exists under Newsletter → Lists.
