FooEvents

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

FooEvents lets you sell tickets to events directly from your WordPress site using WooCommerce. With Advanced Form Integration (AFI), you can automatically send ticket data to other platforms whenever a new ticket is created.

🔔 Supported Trigger

AFI supports one main trigger for FooEvents:

  • New Ticket Created – Fires immediately when FooEvents creates a new ticket after a customer completes a WooCommerce order.

This trigger is useful for notifying CRMs, marketing tools, or spreadsheets about new attendees or sales in real time.

📋 Available Fields

When a new ticket is created, AFI can collect and send the following fields to your connected platform:

Field Name Description
Ticket ID Unique ID of the ticket post
Event Name Title of the related event
Attendee Name Full name of the attendee
Attendee Email Email address of attendee
Order ID WooCommerce order ID
Purchase Date Date when the ticket was created

These fields can be mapped to any supported integration like Google Sheets, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or your CRM of choice.

✅ Setup Steps

  1. Navigate to AFI > Add New Integration.

  2. Choose FooEvents as the Trigger Platform.

  3. Select New Ticket Created as the trigger event.

  4. Choose your Action Platform (e.g., a CRM, email tool, or webhook).

  5. Map the FooEvents fields to your desired destination fields.

  6. Save the integration.

Once done, each time a new ticket is issued, AFI will automatically send the data.

🧪 Additional Notes

  • AFI uses the fooevents_create_ticket hook provided by the FooEvents plugin to capture ticket data.

  • The plugin fetches post meta and basic user data, ensuring accurate attendee info is transferred.

  • This integration is especially helpful for automating attendee tracking, newsletter signups, or sending welcome emails.
