Overview

The AFI plugin lets you connect your WordPress forms with Zoho Marketing Automation, allowing you to automatically add leads to your selected Zoho mailing list. When someone submits your form, their information will be added as a lead in your Zoho MA dashboard.

This is great for growing your email list, automating follow-ups, and managing marketing contacts effectively.

πŸ”§ How To Setup

Step 1: Create a Zoho Client (OAuth Setup)

  1. Visit Zoho API Console

  2. Click Add Client

  3. Choose Server-based Applications

  4. Provide a suitable Client Name

  5. Set your Website URL as the Homepage URL

  6. Copy the Redirect URI shown in AFI Settings β†’ Zoho Marketing Automation

  7. Paste this URI into Authorized Redirect URIs in Zoho

  8. Click Create to get your Client ID and Client Secret


Step 2: Connect Zoho MA in AFI

  1. Go to AFI β†’ Settings β†’ Zoho Marketing Automation

  2. Click Add & Authorize

  3. Enter:

    • Title (any label)

    • Client ID

    • Client Secret

    • Select the correct Data Center (e.g., com, eu, in)

  4. Click Authorize

  5. You’ll be redirected and connected successfully


Step 3: Create a New Integration

  1. Go to AFI β†’ Add New

  2. Give your integration a name like β€œZoho MA Lead Capture”

  • Form Provider: Select your form plugin (e.g., Elementor, WPForms, CF7)

  • Form Name: Choose the form you want to connect


Step 4: Configure the Action

  • Platform: Zoho Marketing Automation

  • Task: Add New Lead


Step 5: Map Fields

After selecting the task, configure the following:

Zoho Account

Select the Zoho account you authorized in step 2.

Mailing List

Choose the list you want to add leads to.

Field Mapping

Match the Zoho fields to your form inputs. The available fields may include:

  • Email

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Company

  • Phone

  • City

  • Country

  • Lead Source

  • And more (based on your Zoho setup)

Simply select the correct form field from the dropdown for each Zoho field.


Step 6: Save Integration

Click Save Integration.

πŸ”Ή Not Connecting After Authorization

  • Double-check your Client ID, Client Secret, and Redirect URI

  • Make sure you’re using the correct Data Center (e.g., com, eu, in)

  • Try authorizing again using Edit > Update & Authorize

πŸ”Ή Lists Not Loading

  • Make sure the correct account is selected

  • Check that your Zoho token is active and valid

  • Try refreshing the page and reconnecting if needed

  • Ensure Email field is mapped correctly

  • Confirm that a Mailing List is selected

  • Check if API errors are logged at AFI β†’ Log
