Instantly

Overview

The AFI plugin lets you connect your WordPress forms to your Instantly account, enabling you to automatically send lead data to specific Instantly campaigns. Whenever someone fills out your form, the information is pushed to your selected Instantly campaign in real time.

This is useful for managing cold email campaigns, outbound prospecting, and lead nurturing.

🔧 How to Set Up

Step 1: Connect Your Instantly Account

Before creating an integration, you must connect your Instantly account.

1. Go to AFI → Settings → General

2. Enable Instantly from the platform list and click Save Changes

3. A new Instantly tab will appear at the top — click on it

4. Enter your API Key

📌 How to Get Your API Key:

• Log into your Instantly account

• Go to Settings → Integrations → API

• Generate or copy your API key

• Paste it into the plugin settings and click Save Changes

Step 2: Create a New Integration

1. Go to AFI → Add New

2. You’ll land on the New Integration setup screen

🔹 Title
Give your integration a name (e.g., “Add Leads to Instantly Campaign”)

🔹 Trigger

• Form Provider: Select your form plugin (e.g., WPForms, Elementor, Contact Form 7)

• Form/Task Name: Choose the form you want to connect

Step 3: Configure the Action

🔹 Platform: Select Instantly
🔹 Task: Choose Add Lead

This task will send the form data as a new lead to the selected Instantly campaign.

Step 4: Map Fields

Once you select the task, you’ll be able to configure the following options:

• Instantly Account: Select the saved Instantly credential

• Campaign: Choose the target campaign where leads will be added

• Lead Fields: Map your form fields to lead details:

  • Email (required)

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Company Name

  • Personalization

  • Phone

  • Website

Each field on the left is from Instantly; map it to your form fields on the right using the dropdowns.

Step 5: Save Integration

Click Save Integration at the bottom.

🎉 That’s it! Now, whenever someone submits the form, they’ll be added to your selected Instantly campaign as a lead.

🔍 Troubleshooting

If the integration doesn’t work:

• Go to AFI → Log

• Look for entries related to Instantly

• Make sure:

  • You used the correct API key

  • The selected campaign exists

  • Required fields (like email) are mapped

  • No errors were returned by the API
