Overview
The AFI plugin allows you to connect your WordPress forms with Robly, enabling automatic subscription of users to your Robly email lists. When someone submits a form on your site, their data is sent directly to the selected Robly list.
This is ideal for newsletter signups, lead generation, and email marketing automation.

🔧 How To Setup
Step 1: Connect Your Robly Account
Before you create an integration, you need to add your Robly API credentials.
Go to AFI → Settings → Robly
Enter your API ID and API Key
Click Save Changes
📌 How to Get Your API Credentials:
Log in to your Robly account
Go to Settings > API Details
Copy your API ID and API Key
Paste them into the AFI Robly settings page and save
Step 2: Create a New Integration
Go to AFI → Add New
You’ll land on the New Integration setup screen
🔹 Title
Give your integration a meaningful name (e.g., “Newsletter Signup – Robly”)
🔹 Trigger
Form Provider: Select your form plugin (e.g., WPForms, Elementor, Contact Form 7)
Form/Task Name: Choose the form you want to connect
Step 3: Configure the Action
Platform
Select Robly
Task
Choose Add Contact to List
This action will add or update the contact in the selected Robly list after form submission.
Step 4: Map Fields
Once you select the task, you’ll see options to configure the following:
🔹 Robly List
Choose the Robly list where you want to add the subscriber
🔹 Subscriber Fields
Map the form fields to Robly fields:
Email (required)
First Name (optional)
Last Name (optional)
Each left-hand field is from Robly. Use the dropdowns on the right to link them to your form fields.
Step 5: Save Integration
Click Save Integration at the bottom.
🎉 That’s it! Form submissions will now automatically send user data to your Robly list.
🌟 AFI Pro Features
If you’re using AFI Pro, you can select Robly [PRO] as the platform when creating an integration. This unlocks additional features:
Map custom fields from your Robly account
Assign tags to contacts (must be pre-created in Robly)
Send advanced subscriber data to Robly using the extended field mapping
To use this feature, create a new integration and select Robly [PRO] from the platform dropdown.
🔍 Troubleshooting
If the integration doesn’t work as expected:
Go to AFI → Log and review the request logs
Ensure the correct API ID and API Key were used
Confirm that the Email field was mapped and submitted correctly
Check that the selected list exists in your Robly account
Make sure no API errors were returned
