Overview

The AFI plugin allows you to connect your WordPress forms to Nimble CRM so you can automatically add new contacts when a form is submitted. This helps you grow and manage your contact database without any manual effort.

๐Ÿ”ง How To Setup

Step 1: Set Up Nimble API Token

Before creating the integration, you need to provide your Nimble API token.

  • Go to AFI โ†’ Settings โ†’ Nimble

  • Click My Account โ†’ API Tokens in your Nimble account

  • Copy the token and paste it into the API Token field

  • Click Save Changes


Step 2: Create a New Integration

  • Go to AFI โ†’ Add New

  • You’ll see the integration setup screen

Enter a title like โ€œNimble Contact Syncโ€

๐Ÿ”น Trigger

  • Form Provider: Select your form plugin (e.g., WPForms, Contact Form 7, Elementor, etc.)

  • Form Name: Choose the form you want to use


Step 3: Configure the Action

Select Nimble

Choose Add New Contact

This action will send form data to Nimble as a new contact.


Step 4: Map Fields

Now you’ll see the contact field mapping panel.

Map your form fields to Nimble’s contact fields. The most common fields are:

  • Email

  • First Name

  • Last Name

Only the email field is required. The others are optional.

Each left-hand side is a field from Nimble. Use the dropdown to select the corresponding form field on the right-hand side.


Step 5: Save Integration

Click Save Integration.

๐ŸŽ‰ Youโ€™re all set! Now every time someone submits the form, their data will be added as a contact in Nimble.


๐Ÿ” Troubleshooting

If the data is not being sent:

  1. Go to AFI โ†’ Log and check the request and response.

  2. Double-check your API token under Settings โ†’ Nimble

  3. Ensure:

    • Required fields (like Email) are mapped

    • No conditional logic is blocking the submission
