SharpSpring is a marketing automation platform. Every WooCommerce order should flow into SharpSpring automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to SharpSpring. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with WooCommerce installed and configured.
  • A SharpSpring account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect SharpSpring to AFI

  1. Log in to your SharpSpring account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key and Secret.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → SharpSpring.
  4. Enter the API Key and Secret, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WooCommerce to SharpSpring.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WooCommerce as the form provider. AFI fires when an order status changes, giving you access to customer details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, totals, and payment method.

3. Select SharpSpring as the destination

Choose SharpSpring from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates or updates a lead in SharpSpring.

4. Map fields

Match each SharpSpring field on the left to the corresponding WooCommerce order field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, billing address, order total, and product details. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync orders above a specific total, or only completed orders.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your WooCommerce store. Check SharpSpring to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email, first name, and last name to SharpSpring with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and campaign assignment. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which WooCommerce events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an order status changes (for example, pending to processing, or processing to completed). This covers new orders, successful payments, refunds, and cancellations.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
