How to Send weForms Data to Field Nation

Field Nation is a field service platform. If you want weForms submission synced to Field Nation, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting weForms to field service, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
• A Field Nation account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Field Nation to AFI

Field Nation uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Field Nation, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Field Nation.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Field Nation as the destination

Choose Field Nation from the platform dropdown and pick Create Work Order. This creates a work order in Field Nation.

4. Map fields

Match each Field Nation field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Field Nation to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
