How to Send weForms Data to Dynamics 365 Marketing

Dynamics 365 Marketing is a marketing automation platform. weForms manages a form is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Dynamics 365 Marketing.

What you will need

Connect Dynamics 365 Marketing to AFI

Dynamics 365 Marketing uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dynamics 365 Marketing, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Dynamics 365 Marketing.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Dynamics 365 Marketing as the destination

Choose Dynamics 365 Marketing from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Dynamics 365 Marketing.

4. Map fields

Match each Dynamics 365 Marketing field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Dynamics 365 Marketing to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
