How to Send weForms Data to Dynamics 365 Field Service

Dynamics 365 Field Service is a field service platform. Every weForms submission record should flow into Dynamics 365 Field Service automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.

Connect Dynamics 365 Field Service to AFI

Dynamics 365 Field Service uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dynamics 365 Field Service, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Dynamics 365 Field Service.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Dynamics 365 Field Service as the destination

Choose Dynamics 365 Field Service from the platform dropdown and pick Create Work Order. This creates a work order in Dynamics 365 Field Service.

4. Map fields

Match each Dynamics 365 Field Service field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Dynamics 365 Field Service to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
