How to Send Ultimate Member Data to Fortnox

Fortnox is an accounting platform for managing finances. Here is how to pipe Ultimate Member registration straight into Fortnox using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

Connect Fortnox to AFI

Fortnox uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Fortnox, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to Fortnox.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select Fortnox as the destination

Choose Fortnox from the platform dropdown and pick Add Customer. This creates a customer in Fortnox.

4. Map fields

Match each Fortnox field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check Fortnox to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
