How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Telegram

Telegram is a messaging platform. Enrollment events can trigger instant notifications. Here is how to pipe LearnDash data straight into Telegram using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.

Connect Telegram to AFI

1. Create a Telegram Bot via BotFather and copy the bot token.
2. Start a chat with your bot and get the chat ID.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Telegram.
4. Enter the bot token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Telegram.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Telegram as the destination

Choose Telegram from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a message to a Telegram chat via bot.

4. Map fields

Match each Telegram field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Telegram to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
