How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Events Manager
Events Manager is a event management platform. Here is how to pipe LearnDash data straight into Events Manager using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
The direct approach
AFI delivers enrollment and course data straight from WordPress to Events Manager. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.
- A Events Manager account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Events Manager to AFI
Events Manager uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Events Manager, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Events Manager.
2. Pick your trigger
Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.
3. Select Events Manager as the destination
Choose Events Manager from the platform dropdown and pick Add Event. This creates an event in Events Manager.
4. Map fields
Match each Events Manager field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Events Manager to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps title, date, and description to Events Manager with unlimited enrollments. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-enrollment fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which LearnDash events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson. This covers new enrollments, course completions, and student registrations.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the enrollment event completes. Your students are not affected.
Can I send enrollments to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every enrollment flows to all of them simultaneously.
