How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Braze

Braze is a marketing automation platform. LearnDash manages a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Braze.

What you will need

Connect Braze to AFI

1. Log in to your Braze dashboard.
2. Go to Settings → API Keys and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Braze.
4. Enter the API Key and REST endpoint, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Braze.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Braze as the destination

Choose Braze from the platform dropdown and pick Add User. This creates or updates a user in Braze.

4. Map fields

Match each Braze field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Braze to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
