How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Apollo.io

Apollo.io is a sales intelligence platform. LearnDash handles a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson on your WordPress site. Apollo.io is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why connect directly?

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.
• A Apollo.io account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Apollo.io to AFI

1. Log in to your Apollo.io account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Apollo.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Apollo.io.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Apollo.io as the destination

Choose Apollo.io from the platform dropdown and pick Create Contact. This creates a contact in Apollo.

4. Map fields

Match each Apollo.io field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Apollo.io to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
