How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Teamwork

Teamwork is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. FormCraft makes it easy to build conversational forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Teamwork.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting FormCraft to project management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Teamwork account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Teamwork to AFI

Teamwork uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Teamwork, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Teamwork.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Teamwork as the destination

Choose Teamwork from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Teamwork.

4. Map fields

Match each Teamwork field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Teamwork to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Do I need coding skills?

No. Everything is configured through a visual interface, including field mapping.

Will adding this slow down my form?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each form, or send one form to multiple platforms.
