How to Send FormCraft Submissions to EngageBay
EngageBay is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. FormCraft makes it easy to build conversational forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to EngageBay.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting FormCraft to CRM, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
- A EngageBay account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect EngageBay to AFI
- Log in to your EngageBay account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → EngageBay.
- Enter the API Key, email, and name, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to EngageBay.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.
3. Select EngageBay as the destination
Choose EngageBay from the platform dropdown and pick Create Contact. This creates a contact in EngageBay.
4. Map fields
Match each EngageBay field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check EngageBay to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to EngageBay with unlimited submissions. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-submission fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the form submission completes. Your visitors see the normal success message without any delay.
Can I connect multiple FormCraft forms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each form, or send one form to multiple platforms.
