How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Dynamics 365

Dynamics 365 is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. FormCraft makes it easy to build conversational forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Dynamics 365.

Why not just use Zapier?

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Dynamics 365 account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Dynamics 365 to AFI

Dynamics 365 uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dynamics 365, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Dynamics 365.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Dynamics 365 as the destination

Choose Dynamics 365 from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Dynamics 365.

4. Map fields

Match each Dynamics 365 field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Dynamics 365 to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
