How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Dropbox

Dropbox is a file storage platform. Every FormCraft submission should flow into Dropbox without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Dropbox account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Dropbox to AFI

Dropbox uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dropbox, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Dropbox.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Dropbox as the destination

Choose Dropbox from the platform dropdown and pick Upload File. This uploads a file to Dropbox.

4. Map fields

Match each Dropbox field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Dropbox to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
