How to Send Dokan Data to Planning Center

Planning Center is a church management platform. Dokan manages a vendor registers or a product is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Planning Center.

Connect Planning Center to AFI

Planning Center uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Planning Center, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Planning Center.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.

3. Select Planning Center as the destination

Choose Planning Center from the platform dropdown and pick Add Person. This creates a person in Planning Center.

4. Map fields

Match each Planning Center field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Planning Center to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
