How to Send Dokan Data to Moosend
Moosend is a platform platform. Dokan manages a vendor registers or a product is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Moosend.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Dokan to platform, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Dokan installed and configured.
- A Moosend account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Moosend to AFI
Moosend uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Moosend, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Moosend.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.
3. Select Moosend as the destination
Choose Moosend from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Moosend.
4. Map fields
Match each Moosend field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Moosend to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name and email to Moosend with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Dokan events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
