How to Send Dokan Data to Asana

Asana is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. If you want Dokan vendor synced to Asana, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Connect Asana to AFI

Asana uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Asana, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Asana.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.

3. Select Asana as the destination

Choose Asana from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Asana.

4. Map fields

Match each Asana field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Asana to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
