How to Send Contact Form 7 Submissions to GoToWebinar
GoToWebinar is one of the most established webinar platforms. Each registration from your form can auto-enroll attendees.
Getting Contact Form 7 data into GoToWebinar does not require Zapier, webhooks, or custom PHP. Advanced Form Integration handles the connection natively, and this guide shows every step.
Why not just use Zapier?
For a single form-to-webinar platform connection on WordPress, a cloud automation service is overkill. AFI runs on your site, so there is no task meter, no monthly bill that grows with your traffic, and no third party seeing your data.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Contact Form 7 installed and at least one form.
- A GoToWebinar account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect GoToWebinar to AFI
GoToWebinar uses OAuth 2.0. In AFI → Settings → GoToWebinar, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it something recognizable, like CF7 to GoToWebinar.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Contact Form 7 and choose the specific form. AFI reads the form fields automatically.
3. Select GoToWebinar as the destination
Choose GoToWebinar from the platform dropdown and pick Register for Webinar. This registers a contact for a GoToWebinar session.
4. Map fields
Match each GoToWebinar field to the corresponding Contact Form 7 field. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Submit a test entry and confirm the data arrived in GoToWebinar. Check AFI → Log if anything needs debugging.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to GoToWebinar with unlimited submissions. Pro adds custom field mapping and session selection. No per-submission fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need coding skills?

Will adding this slow down my form?
No. AFI sends data to GoToWebinar in the background after submission completes.
Can I connect multiple forms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each form, or send one form to multiple platforms.
