How to Send BuddyPress Data to Deputy

Connect Deputy to AFI

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyPress to Deputy.

2. Pick your trigger

3. Select Deputy as the destination

Choose Deputy from the platform dropdown and pick Add Employee. This creates an employee in Deputy.

4. Map fields

Match each Deputy field on the left to the corresponding BuddyPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyPress. Check Deputy to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
