How to Send BuddyPress Data to DealMachine

Connect DealMachine to AFI

1. Log in to your DealMachine account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → DealMachine.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyPress to DealMachine.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select DealMachine as the destination

Choose DealMachine from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in DealMachine.

4. Map fields

Match each DealMachine field on the left to the corresponding BuddyPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyPress. Check DealMachine to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
