How to Send BuddyBoss Data to Recruitee

Recruitee is a recruiting platform. Every BuddyBoss a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group should flow into Recruitee automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with BuddyBoss installed and configured.
• A Recruitee account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Recruitee to AFI

Recruitee uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Recruitee, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Recruitee.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Recruitee as the destination

Choose Recruitee from the platform dropdown and pick Add Candidate. This adds a candidate in Recruitee.

4. Map fields

Match each Recruitee field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Recruitee to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
