How to Send Bookly Data to Trello

Trello is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Bookly manages an appointment is booked, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Trello.

What you will need

Connect Trello to AFI

1. Go to trello.com/1/appKey to get your API Key.
2. Authorize and get your API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Trello.
4. Enter the API Key and Token, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Trello.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.

3. Select Trello as the destination

Choose Trello from the platform dropdown and pick Create Card. This creates a card on a Trello board.

4. Map fields

Match each Trello field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Trello to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
