How to Send Bookly Data to Total Expert

Total Expert is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every Bookly appointment record should flow into Total Expert automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

Connect Total Expert to AFI

Total Expert uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Total Expert, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Total Expert.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.

3. Select Total Expert as the destination

Choose Total Expert from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Total Expert.

4. Map fields

Match each Total Expert field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Total Expert to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
