How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Resend

Resend is a email delivery platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want FormCraft submissions in Resend, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why connect directly?

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Resend account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Resend to AFI

1. Log in to your Resend account.
2. Copy your API Key from settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Resend.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Resend.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Resend as the destination

Choose Resend from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Resend.

4. Map fields

Match each Resend field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Resend to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
