How to Send WPForms Submissions to Sendy

Sendy is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. WPForms is one of the most popular form plugins for WordPress. Sendy is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

What you will need

• A WordPress site with WPForms installed and at least one form.

Connect Sendy to AFI

1. Log in to your Sendy installation.
2. Copy your API Key from the settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Sendy.
4. Enter your Sendy URL and API Key, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WPForms to Sendy.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WPForms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Sendy as the destination

Choose Sendy from the platform dropdown and pick Subscribe To List. This subscribes a contact to a Sendy list.

4. Map fields

Match each Sendy field on the left to the corresponding WPForms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your WPForms form and submit. Check Sendy to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
