How to Send WPForms Submissions to MailBluster

MailBluster is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want WPForms submissions in MailBluster, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with WPForms installed and at least one form.
• A MailBluster account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect MailBluster to AFI

1. Log in to your MailBluster account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → MailBluster.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WPForms to MailBluster.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WPForms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select MailBluster as the destination

Choose MailBluster from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in MailBluster.

4. Map fields

Match each MailBluster field on the left to the corresponding WPForms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your WPForms form and submit. Check MailBluster to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
