How to Send WP User Frontend Data to Zapier
Zapier is a automation platform. Every WP User Frontend submission record should flow into Zapier automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to automation. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with WP User Frontend installed and configured.
- A Zapier account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Zapier to AFI
Zapier uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zapier, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WP User Frontend to Zapier.
2. Pick your trigger
Select WP User Frontend as the form provider. AFI fires when a post is submitted or a form is completed, giving you access to author name, email, post title, post content, and custom field values.
3. Select Zapier as the destination
Choose Zapier from the platform dropdown and pick Send Webhook. This triggers a Zapier webhook.
4. Map fields
Match each Zapier field on the left to the corresponding WP User Frontend field on the right. Common mappings include author name, email, post title, post content, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in WP User Frontend. Check Zapier to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps any JSON payload to Zapier with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which WP User Frontend events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a post is submitted or a form is completed. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
