How to Send WooCommerce Orders to Postmark

Postmark is a transactional email platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Here is how to pipe WooCommerce order data straight into Postmark using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

What you will need

Connect Postmark to AFI

1. Log in to your Postmark account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your Server API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Postmark.
4. Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WooCommerce to Postmark.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WooCommerce as the form provider. AFI fires when an order status changes, giving you access to customer details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, totals, and payment method.

3. Select Postmark as the destination

Choose Postmark from the platform dropdown and pick Add Mailing List Member. This adds a member to a Postmark mailing list.

4. Map fields

Match each Postmark field on the left to the corresponding WooCommerce order field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, billing address, order total, and product details. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync orders above a specific total, or only completed orders.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your WooCommerce store. Check Postmark to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
