How to Send WooCommerce Orders to Google Tasks

Google Tasks is a task management platform. WooCommerce captures orders beautifully, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Google Tasks. Here is the full setup.

Connect Google Tasks to AFI

Google Tasks uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Google Tasks, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WooCommerce to Google Tasks.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WooCommerce as the form provider. AFI fires when an order status changes, giving you access to customer details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, totals, and payment method.

3. Select Google Tasks as the destination

Choose Google Tasks from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Google Tasks.

4. Map fields

Match each Google Tasks field on the left to the corresponding WooCommerce order field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, billing address, order total, and product details. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync orders above a specific total, or only completed orders.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your WooCommerce store. Check Google Tasks to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
