How to Send weForms Data to Planning Center

Planning Center is a church management platform. Every weForms submission record should flow into Planning Center automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
• A Planning Center account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Planning Center to AFI

Planning Center uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Planning Center, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Planning Center.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Planning Center as the destination

Choose Planning Center from the platform dropdown and pick Add Person. This creates a person in Planning Center.

4. Map fields

Match each Planning Center field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Planning Center to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
