How to Send weForms Data to Nutshell

Nutshell is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. weForms handles a form is submitted on your WordPress site. Nutshell is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
  • A Nutshell account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Nutshell to AFI

  1. Get your Nutshell API credentials.
  2. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Nutshell.
  3. Enter your email and API Key.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Nutshell.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Nutshell as the destination

Choose Nutshell from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Nutshell.

4. Map fields

Match each Nutshell field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Nutshell to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
