Events Manager is a event management platform. weForms manages a form is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Events Manager.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting weForms to event management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
  • A Events Manager account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Events Manager to AFI

Events Manager uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Events Manager, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Events Manager.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Events Manager as the destination

Choose Events Manager from the platform dropdown and pick Add Event. This creates an event in Events Manager.

4. Map fields

Match each Events Manager field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Events Manager to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps title, date, and description to Events Manager with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which weForms events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a form is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
