Apollo.io is a sales intelligence platform. Here is how to pipe weForms submission straight into Apollo.io using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

The direct approach

AFI delivers submission data straight from WordPress to Apollo.io. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
  • A Apollo.io account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Apollo.io to AFI

  1. Log in to your Apollo.io account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Apollo.
  4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Apollo.io.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Apollo.io as the destination

Choose Apollo.io from the platform dropdown and pick Create Contact. This creates a contact in Apollo.

4. Map fields

Match each Apollo.io field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Apollo.io to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Apollo.io with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which weForms events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a form is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
