How to Send Ultimate Member Data to Zoho Desk

Zoho Desk is a helpdesk platform. Ultimate Member manages a user registers or updates their profile, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zoho Desk.

Connect Zoho Desk to AFI

Zoho Desk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Desk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to Zoho Desk.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select Zoho Desk as the destination

Choose Zoho Desk from the platform dropdown and pick Add Ticket. This creates a ticket in Zoho Desk.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho Desk field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check Zoho Desk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
