How to Send Ultimate Member Data to Knack

Knack is a database platform. If you want Ultimate Member registration synced to Knack, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Connect Knack to AFI

1. Log in to your Knack account.
2. Copy your App ID and API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Knack.
4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to Knack.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select Knack as the destination

Choose Knack from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in a Knack app.

4. Map fields

Match each Knack field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check Knack to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
