How to Send Ultimate Member Data to Keap

Keap is a CRM and automation that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. If you want Ultimate Member registration synced to Keap, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why connect directly?

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Ultimate Member installed and configured.
• A Keap account.

Connect Keap to AFI

Keap uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Keap, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to Keap.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select Keap as the destination

Choose Keap from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates or updates a contact in Keap.

4. Map fields

Match each Keap field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check Keap to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
