How to Send Ultimate Member Data to Curated

Curated is a newsletter platform platform. Every Ultimate Member registration record should flow into Curated automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers registration data straight from WordPress to Curated. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Ultimate Member installed and configured.
• A Curated account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Curated to AFI

Curated uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Curated, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to Curated.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select Curated as the destination

Choose Curated from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Curated.

4. Map fields

Match each Curated field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check Curated to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
