How to Send Ultimate Member Data to CiviCRM

CiviCRM is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every Ultimate Member registration record should flow into CiviCRM automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

Connect CiviCRM to AFI

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ultimate Member to CiviCRM.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ultimate Member as the form provider. AFI fires when a user registers or updates their profile, giving you access to user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields.

3. Select CiviCRM as the destination

Choose CiviCRM from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in CiviCRM.

4. Map fields

Match each CiviCRM field on the left to the corresponding Ultimate Member field on the right. Common mappings include user name, email, username, account type, and custom profile fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Ultimate Member. Check CiviCRM to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
